I walk in the door greet the babysitter (G-ma), my babies who immediately bring a smile to my face..five minutes later my sweet EJ is in the kitchen with Mo and I and said Mommy I dance with you? Umm YEAH! So we danced to a lovely tune on WBCL and laughed and while we were being very goofy dancing my Mo just smiled and danced in his own way in his walker...What is better than that?? So then not one minute later this happened..
Me busy trying to throw supper together....Miss EJ says "Mommy, I need to potty.." "I do it all myself, Okay?." I said ok (because she has been doing this fairly decent on her own.) Thirty seconds later I glance in the bathroom and for some reason she put the potty seat on top of the toilet, couldn't get on it by herself, and was sitting on the edge watching herself pee all over the floor! Seriously, chaos was the picture then.
That is life folks isn't it? Is it a wonder how easy it is to allow ourselves to sink into selfishness and loose patience, or sight of the fact our Joy is in the Lord ALWAYS and in all situations?? Life can be so hard, but we need to allow ourselves NOT to miss out on the joy in each day and that the Lord cares for us and carries us through it all.
As much as I feel that there is not enough time to get things done, or not enough money to make me think we might loose the house, it's all just things and as long as my focus is on he who made me and that I am teaching that to my children...the mission is accomplished and I will everyday get right back on that roller coaster and go along for the ride.
I leave you with a few pics from last night. Mr. Mo is crawling and walking (well w/in safe distances of other furniture) now and it is so fun! EJ and him are playing more and more and it is a joy to watch them. I love love love them!

CUTE kids!!!!
ReplyDeleteAMEN to that! I am with you!
ReplyDeleteBy the way- your kids are just growing sooo quickly!
I can't believe how much they have changed! I just wanted to let you know that God blessed us with a beautiful baby girl. We brought her home on June 5. She was born June 2, 2010. She has us completely wrapped around our finger! It has been a long journey for us, but she is worth it!
