September 7

I am a day late on this post, but I just spent 5 glorious days with my family, away from work, away from the computer, and it was so needed....

I have been thinking about this post for a long time now and just haven't had the time to put it all in words. So for today just a few pictures, and later there will be more.

Mo kinda has 2 special forever family day's in my mind. September 7 is the day this ma ma got him in my arms forever, and September 11 is when my whole family was together...so for now here is a moment in time that I will never forget.

God knew of this day through all the paperwork, struggles, and fears and he so beautifully made this little boy that we love so very much.

(I am trying to figure out why my camera had the date of the 6th when I know it was Labor day when we met last year...hmmm Jet lag on me or the camera?? :) )

3 Different Things

Another first for sweet EJ...Sunday School!

Yes, we had tried when she turned 3 and she wasn't having it back in March, but this past Sunday was Rally Sunday. The Sunday they start up the new school year and my girl went with no problems; what a blessing.
They let balloons go with a tag that had their first names on it. I really didn't think she was going to let it go, but she did and then she cried when it was gone. Good thing we went to church BEFORE Sunday School.

Walking with all the other children out to the grass..

I think she is wondering what is going on...

Mighty Mo...Just had to throw some shots on here of him...he is so much fun, and I cannot resist those chubby legs!

And lastly...some verses that are really ministering to me right now. I just feel that I am on the brink of some big things God has planned and I need that extra push to do what he is asking.

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives.
~ Galatians 5:25

Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful.

The Day Has Come

Our precious EJ went to preschool. Oh my heart. I did really well actually, but Daddy on the other hand...started tearing up just taking pics at home and well I took her on my own for her first day. I thought it would either go really well or it would be major trauma. I think she was so mesmerized by all the toys and stuff that she didn't care that I left and of course her friend was going too. I was so thankful. As we were driving to preschool I asked EJ if we could pray and she said yes, so we said a special prayer for her heart that day and that she would be kind to other kids that might be off by themselves. It was sweet. I am so excited for her and hope she really enjoys it, but I am also sad that my girl is growing. Does anyone know how to stop that?????

Here are some pics. She is still a stinker for pictures so here is what we were able to get.

I just got off speaker phone with my baby girl and she sounded so great. I asked her how preschool was and she said "It was good". Good enough for me. Ohh my baby; just love her!

So sweet.....

We have been so busy lately....mostly with canning but wait until you see all I have when the canning season is over. I am stoked, tired, but stoked.

Anywho....this is the most precious pic I think I have ever taken(at least this week :) ) !

We headed down to Mr. Mo's 15 month appt. and it was of course during nap time and this is what happened on the way there.

Mr. Mo weighs 24 lbs 6 oz! He continues to grow and is so very healthy. Thank you Jesus!

*a side note* Tomorrow EJ starts Preschool...We are Not ready for this; especially Daddy!

Fasting

I am doing a half day fast today....no breakfast or lunch with lots of prayer for things on my heart and the repeat of this verse (especially when I want to eat):

Psalm 115: 1

Not to us, O Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and
faithfulness.

Step out in faith?

Step out in faith…..keeps coming to mind

I think we confuse stepping out in faith... or I should say we view stepping out in faith as…Okay Lord I will do it as soon as I have this and this in place and know that if this happens I will have this to fall back on.

That really isn’t stepping out in faith is it? That’s not really relying on the things the Holy Spirit is whispering to you and the plan the Lord has for you, is it?

A sweet friend who reads my blog sent me a wonderful, convicting, convincing message awhile back about how the Lord puts the strong desires on our hearts for a reason and sometimes we just have to step out in faith…

So I think my first step is going to be to sell our house…this can only happen if it is the will of our mountain moving, miracle working God because we all know what the economy is like, right?

So now I need to tell my husband my “crazy” idea…. :)

Sunday's

I love Sunday's. We start off with early church, which honestly I don't always get a whole lot of of the service right now with 2 busy toddlers, but that too in time will pass. After the service we head over to my Mom and Dad's, normally along with my brother's family, and we hang out for an hour or so until they head off to late service. It's a routine I enjoy. After that Mo gets a nap at home and off to the hubby's parents for lunch.

Here are a couple pics from last Sunday. Too precious for any more words.
