The time has finally come!
Our HUGE rummage sale/silent auction is this Saturday at Kent and I’s church from 8-3p.m. with the silent auction lasting until Sunday.
We have been exceedingly blessed with a ton of items for this sale. You name it we probably have it.
Baby Clothes up to Adult clothes, other baby items, toys, bikes, exercise equipment, decorative items of many many different venues, Christmas Items, Kitchen Items, even snow ski’s! I can’t even wrap my mind around everything right now to list it. Please come see us at our sale, and hear about our heart for the orphan.
This sale will benefit not two family’s adoptions from Ethiopia.

Smile
These make me smile a lot! Time with family; people we love and the kids love. Na Na Barb and Mike's...relaxation Ma Ma needs right now. I am knee deep in pricing things for our rummage sale in a couple weeks; so much so I am dreaming about it at night; yikes! But there is nothing I wouldn't due for my babies, and future babies!

Clean Up, Clean Out, Donate
Turn your unused items into a blessed gift for orphans. My Family is jointly holding a Rummage Sale with the Bailey Family, to raise money for the fees associated with bringing the next members of our families “out of Africa.” The sale will be held in my church's Family Center on July 23rd.
We will be collecting gently used items that may be sold to fund the obscene cost of adoption. Please contact me to arrange for pick up of your donated items at least one week prior to the sale.
I will have more details on the sale later...we may be raffling some pretty cute baby quilts and I want even my bloggy friends to be able to buy tickets if you want.
I have been reading so many stories lately of orphans that are suffering so much and it breaks my heart even more. Please pray for all orphans of the world and ask God to show you what you can do to help!

Just busy....
We have been crazy busy and I have more posts to come hopefully by next week, but here is a cute picture for now. I posted a little more detail on the adoption blog too.

The Party & Other
Finally here are some pics from Mo's B-day party. He was pretty serious the day of the party because of Mr. Molar coming in, but he had the most fun when he was outside on his new swingset from his Grandparents! He will really love the sandbox his Grandpa Mike made too once we get some sand in it. We have a regular old playland in the backyard now.
He wasn't too happy in this pic because all he wanted was the train off the cake, and I wanted a picture... :)
These are from the night we put the swingset together. EJ asked me to put her up there and I said Hang on while I get a pic, and she couldn't wait for me to get her back down...I love the hat on Mo; it's Kent's and it was so huge on him...it was cute. They both really are so adorable, eh? I am biast and proud!

14 Years!
May is a crazy busy month for my family every year. Mr. Mo turned 2 on the fourth, myself 34 on the 7th, Mother's Day on the 8th, and today is the hubby and I's 14th Wedding Anniversary. Then from the 12th to the 18th 5 more birthday's in my family. Parties galore.
So back to the whole anniversary. This morning when I remembered and won the game the hubby and I play, by saying Happy Anniversary first...as my husband was thinking to how long it has been he said to me "What have we done in 14 years?" We had a lot of joking after this question, but as I have thought about it more today I am asking it more seriously.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE?
Sure we have stepped out in faith and adopted and trusted the Lord in those, and our current one, but we really haven't done enough for the least of these.
My Family, and most of America, PLAY IT SAFE. We stay in our safe little worlds, do our church thing, do our giving thing, love on those around us most of the time, but have we really sacrificed for our Lord? Have we really stepped out of our comfort zone and LOVED the least of these, the widow, the stranger, the orphan. Have we let the suffering really seep into our hearts enough to do something about it? Have we really given until it hurts, or do we take care of ourselves first? Put back for our "future", make sure we have what we think we need first, and then give what's left, or not at all.
I admit, My family has made mistakes, and still are. We indulge, buy unnecessary things, and are comfortable and rich far more than most of the world....
I am not sure what all God has planned, but I am seeking it, and I hope that when the hubby and I are celebrating another wedding anniversary we do not look anything like we do now.
(And those waiting for the cute pics of my adorable babes..they are coming. We celebrated Mo's second year of life with family on Sunday and I hope to download the pics soon.)
